It has been awesome the last couple days seeing your stretching before running drawings.
That’s a practice I’ve been trying to engage in as well lately.. just doing warm up paintings before starting. I find it hard to approach them as sketches though because I get sucked into them and start treating them like finished pieces. The timer thing is a great idea.
like this one.. what do you intend to do with these practice pieces/studies?..
Hi Jack, I haven’t decided yet, and I’m thinking of slowing down the exercise to focus on a 2 or 3 painted studies a week instead. As you can probably see that Wednesday and Thursdays offering were far better than the others. I might include them in the show if they’re interesting enough.
